Floresta Sint�(c)tica: A syntactic tree corpus for Portuguese
What you can search, is a growing set of Portuguese news text sentences (81.000 words) from the CETEMP�blico and CETENFolha corpora, automatically PALAVRAS-annotated by Eckhard Bick (VISL), and manually revised by Susana Afonso, Raquel Marchi and Anabela Barreiro Colasuonno as part of a joint venture with Diana Santos (Linguateca), who maintains the central Floresta site, and has also programmed a dedicated search tool (�guia) for the Floresta treebank. The PALAVRAS-parser is a multi-stage hybrid system, containing both Constraint Grammar and Phrase Structure modules. PALAVRAS is accessible for online use.
